  • Strong keep per the standard practice of having articles for recent FCS seasons. Lepricavark (talk) 13:39, 17 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Strong keepWP:CFB has a practice of having individual season articles for FBS and FCS teams. This article would have been created at some point before the 2020 season began, and, as the 2019 season has concluded, it is not WP:TOOSOON. It does not qualify for deletion per WP:CRYSTAL either, as that policy reads Individual scheduled or expected future events should be included only if the event is notable and almost certain to take place; this season is all but certain to take place and for an entire college football season to be cancelled would be coming out of nowhere. Willbb234's deletion rationale is simply a link to WP:NSEASONS, which states that the amount written by reliable sources on a weekly basis for some of these programs is enough that almost anything or anyone having any relation to them is likely to meet the General Notability Guideline in relation to top-level programs. Despite not being a "top-level program", Tarleton State will still be written about by multiple reliable, verifiable sources every week, due to its place as Division I college football team. PCN02WPS Tarleton State will still be written about by multiple reliable, verifiable sources every week. Prove it. Willbb234Talk (please {{ping}} me in replies) 18:24, 17 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conflict) @Willbb234: Here is Tarleton State's 2019 schedule, game-by-game on ESPN. Their season-opening upset over FCS Stephen F. Austin last season was covered in USA Today and the Tyler Morning Telegraph. They are also covered in the Stephenville Empire-Tribune - from a quick glance, I found articles detailing games (here, here, here, here, and here), articles detailing signing classes (here), rankings (here, here, here, and here), with an article detailing their upcoming 2020 schedule having been published more recently. Dave Campbell's Texas Football did an article about their win against West Texas A&M. Keep in mind that all of this is while they were a Division II team; the prevalence and quality of these sources will only increase when they begin play at the Division I level in the fall.
